The Tigania Women Saving and Credit (TIWOSA) is AUSPF's featured grantee.

TIWOSA was given its first grant in 2009.  This group has grown from sixty members in 2008 to now more then five thousand members. Their vision is that every Tiganian woman (almost ninety thousand) becomes a member by 2012. The mission of the Tigania Women SACCO is to empower every Tiganian woman to create her own savings and receive a loan based on her savings to start or expand a business. AUSPF has supported  business basics workshops for the members and a Train-the-Trainer workshop for specific members to help teach the basic business  skills to the overall membership.  Also AUSPF provided a Strategic Planning workshop for the leadership.  With the help of AUSPF,  TIWOSA has been providing training, guidance and resources so that each woman will have the tools to start a successful business with her loan.  AUSPF continues to provide on-going technical assistance to the Tigania Women Sacco to ensure that their members have the skills to maintain profitable businesses and their leaders have the training skills to assist their members.
